On April 9, PurposeCare celebrated the opening of its new Springfield, Ohio, location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the community truly showed up. Local business leaders, PurposeCare team members from across the state, and Ohio State Representative Bernard Willis (District 74) all gathered to mark the occasion.
This new location is part of a broader commitment to expanding care in a region with a high need for quality home care options.
The Springfield location is an extension of PurposeCare of Ohio’s Circleville branch, expanding the team’s reach across six counties: Clark, Greene, Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont.
Situated between Dayton and Cincinnati, Springfield sits at the center of a service area home to more than 350,000 adults aged 65 and older, a population the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services projects will increasingly need long-term care support in the years ahead.
“Expanding into Springfield allows us to better serve the great state of Ohio,” said Rich Keller, PurposeCare CEO. “This region has a large and growing population of older adults who deserve access to high-quality, consistent home care.”
PurposeCare of Ohio–Springfield provides non-medical home care services — personal care, companionship, and daily living support — for older adults and individuals who want to remain safely at home.
This location features a dedicated on-site training and testing center, where caregivers build and demonstrate hands-on proficiency before ever entering a client’s home. That includes practice with Hoyer lifts, patient transfers, and other essential care skills to properly prepare caregivers for the field.
If you or someone you love could benefit from home care services in the Springfield area, we’d love to connect. Visit our Ohio locations page to find contact information for PurposeCare of Ohio–Springfield, or call us directly at (937) 943-4075.
